Cypher Level? - AdrenalinDragon - 01-Jan-2012 Should we have a Cypher like level in CCLP1? Maybe it could be a level with a hidden password instead for the secret levels? Cypher Level? - Hornlitz - 01-Jan-2012 Since this is supposed to be an official level pack, I'd say yes to having a cypher level. We should most probably have one for level 146, as I believe all 3 official ones have had, and maybe another password for say level 100 or something like that. It's CCLP tradition Cypher Level? - rockdet - 01-Jan-2012 I also agree that we need a Cypher. There's no need to explain why. (ebg13) Cypher Level? - BigOto2 - 01-Jan-2012 I think it should be called "Warp Zone" or something like that, to make it look suspicious. Maybe it could have references to SMB. Also, the password should go to Level 145 so that no levels are skipped, unless we want a Thanks To... of our own. In CCLP3, the game automatically takes you on to 145 after beating 144, getting the ending picture, and re-entering it, so will this be used in CCLP1 or will those levels be a big secret? Cypher Level? - James - 01-Jan-2012 Before this gets out of hand : I said: There will almost certainly be a cypher level. I envision it being beginner-friendly both to solve and decipher, fitting with the theme of CCLP1. Tyler said: There needs to be a cypher level, or else the player will not be able to reach level 145. As James said, it should be beginner friendly, so a lot like the one in CC1 and not like the ones in CCLP2 and CCLP3. We should also run a contest like with CCLP3. And the password shouldn't be too obscure as Trevor suggested; we don't want the final five levels to be ignored... Ben said: I think we should do the same kind of thing the CCLP3 staff did where we should make one that you cant just look in an editor for, but actually have to beat the level to get the passwords. === Apologies for the thread de-rail with the ciphers, figured a rot13 cipher would fit quite well with what i wrote Cypher Level? - AdrenalinDragon - 01-Jan-2012 All right guys, enough! Post a decyphering topic in Games & Trivia if you want to carry on! Serious thread is serious. |
