Donations in bitcoins? - uyjulian - 22-Mar-2013 Quote:At $73/bitcoin, you have around one-tenth of one cent USD. Assuming $10/hr for a standard entry-level job, earning 0.0000162 BTC is the equivalent of working for approximately four-tenths of a second. Seems hardly worth the time to set up and manage your bitcoins if people aren't willing to donate more than that... i have more in cold storage i forgot how much i had,it's been 3 years since i put bitcoins in cold storage (i got lots) i got more donations! 0.0120162 BTC in total now! Donations in bitcoins? - jblewis - 22-Mar-2013 That's great, uyjulian, but I think the point everyone else is trying to make is that just because you do something doesn't mean everyone else does. It sounds like this is worth pursuing only if bitcoins were more commonly used across our user base. Donations in bitcoins? - AdrenalinDragon - 22-Mar-2013 I think I'll stick with regular PayPal donations for now.
