CCLP Contributor award - Flareon350 - 01-Apr-2012 Quote:I contributed Block Head and Mouth-Watering to CCLP3. Gimme a thing! Given Also that was the first time I both gave an award and actually used my powers as a member of Staff! CCLP Contributor award - ChipHome5 - 12-Apr-2012 Quote:Please tell me it has a Lynx compatible version of Delivery Ship! Unluckily a Lynx version of Delivery Ship wouldn't be Delivery Ship anymore. Delivery Ship is completely based on data reset and invalid tiles combinations and it is very difficult to think about this level without all this stuff. However, as soon as I have some time to spend on CC I'll surely try to create a Lynx-compatibile version (with a different name... maybe Forsaken Ship). CCLP Contributor award - IceyLava108 - 14-Apr-2012 Oh, speaking of insane levels, I beat Chased By.. The Exit? with 389 seconds. Insane Levels CCLP Contributor award - ChipHome5 - 15-Apr-2012 That level was quite fun to create, too! I'm glad you liked it! @IceyLava108: Thanks for posting your time! CCLP Contributor award - IceyLava108 - 15-Apr-2012 Quote:That level was quite fun to create, too! I'm glad you liked it! No problem I don't remember how long I waited, but if you move up and the tile almost kills you in an ice intersection in the beginning, in the second section at the top you run into the level. I'll record it ASAP. Also, if you do it a little too fast the exit kills you instead of completing the level One more thing: My memory says I beat it in 389 seconds; however, this may not be true: I'll have to redo it. I think if not 389 it is 384 CCLP Contributor award - IceyLava108 - 20-Apr-2012 Yes, it is 389.0 [i made the thread just for the level in the High Scores forum! ] CCLP Contributor award - Ihavenoname248 - 14-Feb-2014 So this is kind of an old topic, but pretty much everyone has actually claimed their levels...but me, mostly due to not knowing about here until now! I didn't see an introduction topic so I guess I'll just introduce myself here as this seems to be the most on-topic place to do it. I found out about CC editors back in 2008 or so, made some levels, put them up onto pieguy's site, then left and didn't really return until a month or so ago, when I continued work on a set I had begun in 2009 I believe it was. Since then I've been an active member of the speedrunning and Touhou communities (though never speedrunning CC, maybe I'll change that?) under the username I'm posting here under. However, some of the older members here will know my levels from (relatively) bad sets like 25 levels.dat and (at the time) my best set that I was quite happy with having finished, even if most of the levels aren't quite up to my current standards... Ultimate Chip.dat. I had submitted this to CCLP3 voting, hoping that something would get in but I didn't expect anything would. Imagine my surprise when I checked back in 2012 just to see what people had come up with for the final level list when I saw my own level, Recess, had made it into the final cut in the 25th level slot. I hadn't exactly looked around for community as I wasn't interested in designing levels, or really playing them at the time. Well, now I am, and here I am, ready to keep creating Seriously though, I was shocked to see anything of mine in the final set. I had to do a double take to make sure that it was my level and not one someone else had made with the same name. |
