For the example picture, Chip hits a wall as that's what's waiting on the other side (one row above this row). In TW emulation with 'pedantic' mode, the game just stops if something goes over the boarder (I think).

[8:28:19 PM] Miika: TW lynx mode has some differences to the original Lynx. TW has 'pedantic' mode that tries to recreate Lynx as closely as possible, but it seems this area is one that is not quite the same.
