I found out a way to get Chip's Challenge DOS port running on Windows, NO EMULATOR! - uyjulian - 26-Mar-2013 Note: This does NOT work on 64-bit computers! 1) Get Chip's challenge DOS port from anywhere you want 2) Open the command prompt (cmd.exe) 3) CD to where the files are located 4) Hit alt-enter (This is important!) 5) Type loadfix chips and hit enter 6) Hit enter 7) Select these options 4 - VGA A - roland K - keyboard 8) Now hit enter 9) The game should have loaded Enjoy For fast performance, close all programs. Yes, you can run Chip's Challenge DOS in windows, but it will run slowly (if you have Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1) DOSBox is another option. |
