I like to have good titles for levels, but sometimes the generic ones are the best to go with. As Tyler pointed out, it's cool to give a title of a level a reference to popular media/events.

9 of my level titles are outright nonsense, such as Bepis, Mughfe, Traffic Jam of Wolfies on Uranus (pronounced the innapropro way, of course), Exploding Toilet, and Manicotti with Cream Chicken and Artichokes.

I don't like titles that sound too serious... Tongue

Socialist Action was a pretty scary name for a young kid (me) who doesn't know what it means... I thought 'what the hell is this level about' when I first played it.

Friggin' awesome! What kind of level was that, dare I ask?

It's kind of like Shattered, in which there is a room where fireballs clone exponentially and you have to move as fast as possible before they kill you. Other than that, I have no idea.

As juvenile as it may sound, the thought of comparing cloned fireballs to the sort of detritus that would be released by an "exploding toilet" brings me an indescribable level of glee.

My level titles are usually serious and I take way too long to think of some sometimes...I have pretty hilarious ones though like Broccoli Casserole, Question Mark? I also have some titles of levels where it lies to you like Short and Simple (when it's really a pretty hard level) and A Simple Game of Pong (not simple at all)

The rest of my titles are either named after a music, after something from another video game or something you have to do in a level.

Irony's always good. I only wish "Nice Day" in CC1 had been genuinely frustrating.

I feel like titles can help with the aesthetic content of a level (outside of hints, of course). I don't think Joshua Bone's "Mineshaft" would have been quite as interesting with a different title and without the gravel/block clone look.

Don't forget Chip Alone: Lost in Chip City. An amazing level plus an amazing name which totally made it for both me and Rock AFAIK.
