MSCC's initial monster list has a size of 256 bytes, which is large enough to hold the positions of 128 monsters. However, CCL files do not allow a data packet to have more than 255 bytes. Therefore, only 127 (255/2) monsters can be added; the last two bytes of the list always go unused.
