LOBSTER TRAP was designed to be a lobster, as seen here is a full image of the level ---

ICE CUBE - If you view this level in the editor, all the chips form a circle. That's pretty epic stuff.

ICE CUBE was intended to be something along the lines of this level ----

but Chip would have undergone too much pain and so this was created ---

but then the idea of a bug being trapped on ice was too hard to put in the game, so THIS is what we find in ICE CUBE today:
