It is possible to time it, if it's any consolation. "Glider loops every 18 moves, starting...now, 14 moves to get block in position/oof/oof/oof/now" etc.

...yeah, I suck at counting moves. So let's just say that my own incompetence is to blame, but still...being human, I prefer to blame the level.

Theoretically, you could have a visual clue. Plug In Baby was fixed this way, and now it's great.

15 Zelgon's Lair (i just don't like it)
14 Pearl Diving (the concept is good, but annoying)
13 Possible (as if Writers Block wasn't an evil enough brain teaser for level 81)
12 Countdown (Sokoban + small time limit = annoying)
11 Toggle Bust
10 Maginot Line
9 Waste of Space
8 Pacman stupid paramecium)
7 Lot in Life
6 Construct a Maze
5 Flamethrower
4 Caves
3 Divide and Conquer (like Caves, but more annoying)
2 Niche
1 Mice are Good for Something
I don't get all the hate on Complex and Which One Next? Those are a couple of my favorites

Caves sucks because it's total luck to beat. Same with Lot In Life. Divide And Conquer I have no idea. Writer's Block is five star fun.
