If you're under 18 you don't even have to take a test? Where I am (in Pennsylvania) you had to do more work if you were under 18 getting your license - you had to fill out a booklet showing that you practiced driving for 50 hours over at least 6 months, then you could take the test to get your license (which included parallel parking). If you were over 18, you didn't need to have the booklet filled out (that's what I did ).
