In this case walkers (my most hated monster) was the main issue, not the block puzzle itself. I mean I tried many ways to free a few walkers to avoid the toggle buttons by putting each block in every corner but they just won't cooperate with me. Still somehow I managed to beat the level.
Actually, forget what I said about the block puzzle, the main thing that kept screwing me up were the stupid walkers in the middle.
