Public tws
#1
Hi. Long time lurker here. My “claim to fame” in the Chip’s Challenge community is that I was a Playtester for the first fan-made levelpack, the CCLP2.

I’m not able to play so much now because of my fingers aren’t what they used to be, but I still like to watch how other people play. That's why the “public tws” at PieGuy’s site is a goldmine for me.

My dream is that one day all the public tws’s are in bold and I think that now is the time to do so with the CHIPS public tws and the CCLP2 public tws. That’s why I want to ask the community: Can someone who has the ability update the non-bold levels in CHIPS public tws and the CCLP2 public tws so that those two levelsets are all bold?

The reason why I’m asking for those two levelsets is that CHIPS is the “original” for me as it came with Windows Entertainment Pack back In the days and CCLP2 I have a history with. Thank you in advance!

Regards

Hey! It's great to see people who were once involved with the community come back for the games and community!
As explained in the scores site FAQ (https://scores.bitbusters.club/faq) under "What is an unreleased route?", some level routes are intentionally not made public in order to encourage competition, since routing (finding the optimal moves to solve a level) is nowadays more difficult/important in optimization discussion than execution (actually playing the level with the optimal moves).
If you'd like to play CC without the time pressure and only for the routing, there are tools like SuperCC (https://supercc.bitbusters.club/) which wait for you to enter moves to make routes! (Perhaps you can achieve the dream yourself!)
The primary mode of communication within the CC community is on our Discord server (https://discord.gg/Xd4dUY9), so if you want to talk with the community (including people like Pieguy himself!) more easily, feel free to join!

Thanks for your answer.
I haven't registred that the change of "policy" about publishing bold solutions is official. Before it was almost a race for publishing the bold route first. Reading the FAQ site I can understand why the change, but anyway it must be allowed to ask. No harm in that.  Slight smile
I am a member of the CC community on Discord, but there are so many discussions going there that it's difficult to absorb it all. There are obviously several tools out there to help optimizing, but I'm a liitle too conservative about my gameplay to use any of them.  Slight smile
