A blob generates random monsters into this room and sometimes you need to go generate more for yourself to get through it. At first I thought I was totally trapped, but wasn't really, so the design is sound :-) And as far as I tried it a few times, it's not too hard to get a perfect run through the room either for competitive purposes.
