Avatar not working?

I'm trying to upload an avatar for my account here, but when I upload it to the profile thingy, it just stays as the generic silhouette no matter what I click on. I even tried 3 different browsers. The pic is 26kB, below the 50kB limit, so that's not the problem.

I couldn't get it to work either, but uploading it somewhere else (like imgur) and using the url works
