Quote:I think it should be reversed to say "Banned (Bummer!)", as that sounds better.

It's good to see you back, Andrew R.!

It works better with Bummer at the start, because the punchline to the joke is the sound Chip makes when he dies, and of course, most things stay dead usually.

Is it actually Chip making that sound? I always thought it was a narrator, though I guess thinking about it now, that doesn't really make sense...maybe they should have had a woman record the "Bummer" sound, giving it a really condescending edge (hello, Melinda The Mental Marvel!).

(Sorry. Nitpicking.)

It's actually more morbidly funny to think that Chip is saying "Bummer" as he's drowning, getting burned, or squashed by a block. Tongue

...but...but...how can you hear him when he's underwater? Or under the block? Or just having been blown to bits by a bomb?

I do like the idea of Chip catching on fire and shrieking "Bummer!" as he goes up in flames. Actually, it's funnier when you realize that he's not shrieking it. He uses the same tone of voice you might use after your pen runs out of ink.

For water, I was thinking more along the lines of him slowly sinking as he's saying it...I know, this sounds really cruel. Tongue

There should be a gurgling version of the Bummer! sound. Someone here should do a remix.

And a muffled one for a block death!

YES!!!!!!!!!

Now what about bomb deaths?

"Bum --"

"Sssssss..."

BOOM.

I imagine the Bummer sound for a Teeth death would be quite gruesome, given the help file's graphic description of them ("chattering all the way," etc.).
