How to add music?

I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question, but I would like to add music to my CC2 set. It seems that the file has to be in MP3 format. However, how do I add it to the C2G file? I tried but it doesn't work.

Put the .MP3 files in an appropriate location and edit the .C2G file. Use an existing .C2G for reference, like the one for the stock CC2 levels. ".." in a path means parent directory (go up a folder).

Thanks for the explanation. I was confused by the meaning of the .. but now it works.
