I may be presumptuous, but I would recommend a good walk just after dark. And turn out all the lights so your body can produce sufficient melatonin.
Also, my allergies are terrible this year, so if that's your problem treat the symptoms somehow.

I took something like 15 milligrams of Melatonin; did absolutely nothing. I think my mistake was deciding to quit my medications cold turkey. I didn't sleep last night either. I feel physically ill right now. My head hurts, and I feel like I'm about to either puke or pass out or both. I need sleep.
Maybe being physically dependent on prescription sleeping pills isn't a bad thing.
