An Announcement of Zane's Resignation |

Dear Chip's Challenge Community,
I have some bad news for everyone. Our dearly beloved Zane "Eazy-E" Kuecks has recently informed me by letter than he is terminating his Chip's Challenge career, and thus is no longer with us. He cites the inclusion of "Launch" in Chip's Challenge Level Pack 1, J.B.'s inability to discover and execute the bold route for Blockade, and the lack of video output by his good friend Josh Lee. He did not want to deliver this news himself, as he would like his lasting impression on the Chip's Challenge community to be one of joy and peace. Zane was a great friend of mine and an excellent colleague. Working with him for the best 25 years has been such a pleasure and I do not know if anyone will be able to replace him. He also requests that all of his scores on James's site be taken down and any record of him be expunged from Chip's Challenge Zone and the Chip's Challenge Wiki. You can show your support for Zane by upvoting this post, rather than upvoting any old posts of Zane's. Let's preserve what he left behind. Thank you.

Greetings everyone!
I am pleased to announce that a decision has been made to continue releasing official level packs! With CCLP1 just released, we are ready for CCLP4!
To submit your levels, please upload them to CCZone, the Yahoo! group or Pieguy's site and put CCLP4 in the name or the description of the set.
Make sure your levels are solvable in both Lynx and MS. Pedantic Lynx is optional.
The first levels of CCLP4 will be the equivalent of Graduation in CCLP1 and Nuts and Bolts in CC1. The last few levels will be about as hard as You Can't Teach An Old Frog New Tricks.
The CCLP4 Staff will be announced soon.
Thank you for your interest!

Concern |

As the topic might suggest, I'm growing slightly concerned...
As I write this message, it is almost 2 pm GMT on the 1st of April 2014, and one or more of the following events is yet to transpire:
1) A major figure in the CC community has not threatened to leave / actually left the community on the grounds of disgruntlement, anger, disappointment or apparent mistreatment at the hands of another member(s) of the community.
2) A major bug / bust has not been found within CCLP1 that requires the immediate withdrawal of the set from CCZone and other locations, and also renders all scores / times set to date null and void.
3) A new MSCC game mechanic has not been accidentally discovered, leading to a crash in bold times across all official level packs, and no-one has attempted to replicate this mechanic in a new update for Tile World.
4) The CCLP1 staff have not admitted that they made a number of mistakes during the process of voting on and assembling CCLP1 levels, and that a large proportion of levels in CCLP1 should not have made it into the set, nor have they disclosed which levels should actually have been in the final set in place of these.
5) After his extensive reconnaissance efforts carried out whilst assembling, playing and rating levels in the voting packs, and subsequently contributing in no small part to the creation of the finished product of CCLP1, John Lewis does not hold an unassailable bold score on every CCLP1 level.
I ask that the CC community please work together and do our hardest to correct this gross error immediately, in order that we might uphold the great traditions of our honourable forebearers and lead our community into a glorious new future.
Yours sincerely,
fauntleroy
