That's a hard solution. You took the suction boots right away. I was never able to complete it with that solution, and was stuck until I heard about the flippers-fireboots solution.

I'm honoured! I didn't think it had a chance of making CCLP3 because it was just a plain ol' blue wall maze...
*goes to make sequel*
I haven't played much of CCLP3, but my favorite CC1 levels are:
1. CATACOMBS - because it's fun, and is probably the best looking level in CC1 as well.
2. NIGHTMARE - chase levels
3. FOUR PLEX -
4. SLIDE STEP - minutes of fun with the block and the ice.
5. ALPHABET SOUP
6. SPOOKS - it's just like digger, but so much more fun. I tried many times to open up paths for all the teeth and get all the chips with the teeth chasing you; Of course, I failed.
7. FIRETRAP
8. PLAYTIME
9. HUNT - when I first saw this level, I fell off my chair.
10. SOCIALIST ACTION - this level just makes me lol. It's a mess, but it's charming.

^Good list. Only one there I'd take off is Alphabet Soup; got killed by that friggin' Teeth way too many times...

I don't remember it anymore, but I'm pretty sure there's a route you can follow that traps the teeth in one of the rooms (maybe the "f" room?).

Oh, I'm sure you can do that; I'm referring more to going through the teleport and running into the Teeth that's waiting in that little room. Because it's your first experience with that particular Teeth, there's no way to plan around it.
On subsequent tries you can make sure to go through the teleport the "right" way, but any level that involves a teleport that throws you right into a trap/monster/element is an immediate turn-off for me.

Yay! We have a Chipster who likes Blobs! (Y)
So perverse.
My CC list (CC1 only) would look something like this:
1. Underground
2. Goldkey
3. Roadsign
4. Yorkhouse
5. The Last Laugh
6. Totally Unfair
7. Four Plex
8. The Prisoner
9. Up The Block
10. Catacombs
I was tempted to rank ALL 149 levels in order of preference, but I'll leave that for a rainy day.

There is. You can also lead the teeth to a bomb if you want to dispose of it.

If you happen to blow it on 5,8 (or get it to hit 1,8), you can save a few seconds. Pieguy once set a new record on this level by using this technique.

Using the glider to accomplish the same objective is even faster, though.
