Because whereas all the other buttons are amazing, the green button is just boring.
Brown button: Frees trapped creatures from their cages. Promotes environmental concern and the welfare of our ecosystem.
Red button: Creates new matter at no cost, potentially reversing entropy or something sciencey.
Blue button: Reverses tanks. Can be used to stop wars. The president ought to have one on hand.
Green button: Makes some walls pop up or down? Lame.
For that matter, pink and black buttons can generate free electricity, orange buttons can deactivate flamethrowers, yellow buttons allow you to control tanks for yourself (letting you decide the outcome of wars) and gray buttons are fucking awesome.

Why do you think the Teeth chase Chip?
You see a bowling ball moving toward four chips lying on the main track. You are standing next to a button that controls a toggle wall. If you push the button, the bowling ball will be redirected, and the four chips on the main track will be saved. However, there is a single chip lying on the side track. You have two options:
1. Do nothing and allow the bowling ball to consume the four chips on the main track.
2. Pull the lever, diverting the bowling ball onto the side track where it will consume one chip.
Which do you pick?

Out of all the buttons and their functions, though, the green button is probably one of the most useful for domestic use, though.
Imagine having a big room for yourself in your house. You have no extra rooms, so when guests come, you press a button, and within less of a second, you activate a wall that separates the big room into two. Now your guests have their own space to put their air mattress and sleep that night. When the guests are gone, press the button again, and get your big room back. Or you can use the toggle walls to have a secret storage of whatever you want to have a stash of, just keep the button hidden. Also, you can use toggle walls instead of doors. The only drawback of this, though, is that all the walls open and close at the same time. You can always replace some of the walls with pink toggle walls, though. Also, make sure to not be on the walls while someone else activates them, because, if they reach the ceiling, there's a crushing hazard.
To answer the last question asked, it depends on how much chips are left. I'll go with 2.
Do you think the clubhouse has a ceiling? How high do you think the ceiling is?

Trick question, Craig. The bowling ball will only kill at most one Chip regardless. And depending on how the toggle wall is placed, the ball will just crash on it when it's closed.
The clubhouse is supposed to have a ceiling, but the one the bit busters hired was too high to come to work. The clubhouse does have a roof, though.
If pi=3.14 and e=2.72, does pie=8.54? How come we don't see this number in pieguy's levels?

What you don't understand is that Stolp's username is not to be read as "pie guy", but rather "pi eguy" - that is, an internet guy who talks about pi. Any evidence to the contrary (e.g. http://davidstolp.com/old/pie.php) is simply the exception that proves the rule true.
How do the bandits steal Chip's boots and keys if they're stuck in the floor? Doesn't it hurt when Chip steps on them? And how did they get themselves stuck in the floor?

The bandits are ex bit busters who used to work in the underground of the clubhouse, that is, under the floor of the levels (scary place, by the way: it's dark, there are dripping pipes, and occasional rats). So they have perfect knowledge of the underground and above ground layout of the levels. Once they stopped working for the bit busters, they put their knowledge to use and started robbing those who would play the levels. They're not stuck to the floor, they take out the floor tile, from underneath, where they would like their head to peek from, and put the floor tile behind their head.
They steal boots by biting the boots so hard, that the next time Chip lifts his feet, the boots stay in place, and Chip's feet get out of the boots, and he just goes along without 'em. The keys are stolen like this: the bandits' glasses have built in magnets that are so strong, the keys end up tearing through Chip's pockets, and falling onto those magnets.
And yes, it sometimes hurts, but if the bandits get drunk enough, they can be stepped on without feeling much pain.
There are hundreds of bit busters. How come we've only played as Chip and Melinda yet?

Plot twist- Do you really think Chip is on call to solve Clubhouse puzzles 24/7? He does take time off, and during his time off a body-double is used for him. So some of the times you've played CC, it might have been John or Fred who was actually on screen.
Are the rumours true about the red Teeth being racist to the blue Teeth because they have a different skin colour? Is that why we rarely see the blue Teeth because they have to hide when the red Teeth show up?

The red teeth aren't just racist towards the blue teeth, they're racist towards pretty much everyone. One of them once called Chip a "perfect set of pearls on a rotting bag of meat". The only reason they run away from Melinda is because girls have cooties.
The blue teeth don't appear often because they have social anxiety, and constantly worry that their presence might be dragging down the level, the way blobs drag down Blobnet. The blobs don't care, of course, and would happily ruin any level they can get their green sticky fingers which they totally have on, but that's a story for another time. Blue teeth only run towards Melinda because they think she might be an introvert like them. (She's not. She does improv in her spare time.)
In response to Gavin's answer -- so just about every Bit Buster is a body double for either Chip or Melinda? Are they just really obsessed?

Well clearly he throws parties, but all the guests get lost in the rooms of the clubhouse.
Speaking of which, why does this clubhouse have so many rooms?!

Because it used to be a mansion when they bought it. The old man who sold it even told them "just don't turn it into some geeky computer base or something like that".
But of course, they bought it with their money, so they could turn it into whatever they wanted. That old man is dead today, anyways.
How come Chip can't stop sliding on ice? Just because it's ice, doesn't mean you won't slow down and come to a stop eventually, right?
