When you save a level it is saved as a .c2m map file, but I can't find a way to create a set of multiple levels and manage them as with Chip Edit for CC1. Is this possible at the moment?

  "Bronze" (CC2 set) feedback thread
Posted by: IceyLava108 - 28-Jun-2015, 9:38 PM - Forum: Level Discussion - Replies (5)

"Bronze" is the first of at least four (hopefully) mid-sized CC2 levelsets that I've decided to invest time into developing. If you have any issues with the set to report or just want to leave public feedback, feel free!

As of 2015/06/28: I'm aware of issues with #19, these will be fixed in 1.0.2 Slight smile

J.B.'s CC2 Levelset Feedback Thread ("Centennium II" Under Construction!)
Posted by: jblewis - 28-Jun-2015, 7:55 PM - Forum: Level Discussion - Replies (11)

I've decided to start a new thread dedicated to levels created for CC2!

My first set is called Centennium - it contains 100 of my favorite levels that I created originally for CC1 and have adapted to the CC2 ruleset. Almost none of these levels required any change at all, as I had taken care to use pedantic Lynx-compatible button connections from the beginning. But I wanted to add a bit to spice things up, so I adjusted the aesthetics a tad and added some custom floors / walls and bonus flags. Every level actually has bonus flags, which vary in difficulty to collect. Other than that, I have added no other elements from CC2 in order to maintain the integrity of the original designs. The "CC1 boot rule" is also in effect for these levels.

I'll be designing a second 100-level set specifically for CC2 with all the new stuff, so stay tuned to this thread for more information!

Feedback and comments are always appreciated. Slight smile

This is my first level set for CC2, featuring ports of 100 levels I created for CC1. The only changes that were made were adding bonus flags and custom floors / walls in select places. I hereby grant permission for any of these levels that did not appear in official CC1 sets to be considered for future official CC2 sets.

Enjoy playing!

  The Other 100 Tiles--CC2 Port
Posted by: ajmiam - 28-Jun-2015, 10:55 AM - Forum: CC2 Level Packs - No Replies

File category: CC2 Levelsets

Hello, fellow Chipsters! I decided to port my levelsets to CC2. To start, I'm porting The Other 100 Tiles. In the port, I fixed trap and clone connections so they work under CC2 (often requiring a lot of wires), added bonus flags where I feel they're appropriate, and changed a few level parts to use new CC2 elements where I think they work better than old mechanisms.

Also, since "BLOX" is now the name of an official level (in CC2), I decided to rename level 52 to "X OUT".

All ported levels are hereby submitted as candidates for all future Level Packs that involve CC2, except ports of levels that were already in a CC1 level pack.

Thank you for any comments or bug reports you give!

File category: CC2 Levelsets

Hello again! With chipster1059's encouragement, I decided to try my hand at making a few more CC2 levels. Here is a set of four that I hope you will enjoy! They are relatively easy, but will take some thought to complete. I may add to this set over time, rather than clogging up the server with unnecessary additional files.

Have fun! Smiley

P.S. Level 4 is highly experimental and kind of a dud, so if you don't enjoy guessing games, don't bother. Teeth

What's New in Version 1.2
  • 1.1: Added title.txt file to ensure the levelset will open in CC2.
  • 1.2: Fixed an obvious bust in level 2. Thanks to Joshua Bone for this fix!

TILE WORLD My Levels AND/OR Other Levels
Posted by: Level131isgreat - 25-Jun-2015, 12:48 PM - Forum: Programs and Editors - Replies (5)

Hi CC community, I recently joined here and have been having a lot of fun with Tile World v 2.1.0 (and the 3 CCLPs that come with it) which I downloaded about a week ago. I also have downloaded CCedit and CCLevelDesigner to make my own levels. The only problem is I cannot test out my own levels in Tile World. I also tried downloading a level set from here and tile world also crashes when I try to open that as well. Does anyone know where I am going wrong?
