I'm working on a levelset for Chip's Challenge 2. First time I'm doing something like this , so let's see how it goes! I'm gonna try to make levels focused on Melinda. Any feedback, comments or whatever are welcome .
Here's some pics of some of the levels I've made. I currently have 7 levels done, more on the way!
Made this level today. Is gonna be one of the earlier levels since it's not too difficult.
One of the first levels I made. I think I made the puzzle pretty hard, but there might be some easy solution to finish it that I haven't figured out, .
I wanted to have a cloning machine that made playable Chips. After designing half the level, I found out you couldn't do that . So I glued together a finite clone machine with some force fields, toggle doors and a tank. The ending will be harder the more Chips you use, hence the name.
I wanted to make a level where Melinda's inability to go through dirt and gravel makes for interesting monster interactions.
Some of the tiles are heavily based off the CC2 or MS versions of the graphics, with my own twist, others are redrawn completely.
What's New in Version 2.0
Made floor mimics not look like troll faces lol
Helmet is a shield now
Made red custom floors and walls a bit easier to tell apart
Now much more colorblind friendly, if I missed anything let me know!

lots of stuff changed, keys have shapes, and buttons are all different for example
5/30/2019 update: My CC2 set can now be found elsewhere! I'm keeping this up as a record of what used to be, but this is very, very non-canon.
3/8/2018 update: This set is officially discontinued. It's been stagnant for a while with no updates due to very, very few CC2 levels built since then. I've since folded the levels contained here into a new set, either kept as part of the curve, or kept around as a rejects ground/archive of what used to be. I'm starting to work on CC2 designs again while finishing up my CC1 swan song, which will hopefully release by the end of the month. From there? Expect a CC2 set at some point! This set suffered greatly from designing to design because it's what everybody else was doing, and I won't make that mistake again.
So this is just going to be where I put my CC2 levels for now. I'm thinking 100 levels for personal CC2 sets sounds pretty good, and I'll be posting further intermediary releases every 25 levels created. If it's allowed, I'll also try to include a custom music pack in the final release: even if I have to compose the contents myself!
There is no difficulty curve here, so be warned.
Many of these levels fit within the entire viewing area. Some are tightly timed. A couple are ports.
when I wire a on/off switch to a force floor or a flame jet instead of turning off then on then off again like I'm pretty sure it's supposed to [there are wired force floors in at least one CC2 level I remember, and I don't remember this happening though I do remember something odd about that level...]
what happens is [for example on the flame jet] it turns on, then on the next press nothing happens, though the wire changes color, then on the third press it turns off, next press nothing again but wire still changes color, etc. Why is this happening?
Same thing happened with force floors, they turn direction only after TWO presses.
A week ago I made a small CC2 levelset and uploaded it.Some days ago I uploaded a new version (1.0.4 - up to 1.0.3 everything seemed to work fine). The background as well as the font of the entry changed to a red color and it isn't visible any more - the reviews are lost as well. What did I do wrong
