Miika's scores
#1
Hi. Let's see if I can post some scores from time to time, possibly with comments.

CCLP3L #38: 308 L (+7, b+1, Wireframe)

If you look at the evolution history, my only regret is I didn't get to report the 306. (Did you see the evolution of JL1??)

A nice level that taught me an important thing: if you think you know a good route to a level, check for updates to it before posting your awesome score. This could actually be a blog post at some point.

I don't think I'll have much time to work on many new scores, but I will try to post my old ones gradually, as I need to get my totals straight. Slight smile

Collaboration on tougher levels is fun. It's always good to ask for help or hints from others, but if you can find someone to work with, that might be even better. So don't get stuck alone on something dumb! (Not to say that this is dumb.)

CCLP1 #92: 837 (+10, b+2, The Shifting Mze, joint record with James A)

CCLP1L #92: 831 L (+48, b+1, The Shifting Mze, joint record with James A)

Yes, I like to shorten level names on occasion, but for search purposes, I'll clarify that this was indeed The Shifting Maze.

Not sure what's next on the list of things to do, but I do already have a first solution for Transfusion
(the current TT).

...In the Pink, the incredibly dumb level no one wants to work on and I'm stuck alone on.

Yay.

Congrats on the new record- I have a couple ideas where that might be coming from...

CCLP3 #141: 336 (+2, b-1, Bug Arranging)

CCLP3L #141: 332 L (+4, bc, Bug Arranging)

I hadn't looked that public tws earlier, and my own method was poor in the third room. I guess it still might be. I am also left wondering if the same thing that saves a second in MS will transfer over to Lynx, which is left to be discovered.

CCLP3 #127: 437 (+1, b, Beat the Heat)

Thank you James for helping me with what was becoming pretty frustrating. We shared routes over a year ago, and it was about time I executed this. Having examined tons of options, it was a tiny thing that was missing of course.

CCLP1 #115: 430 (+2, b, California)

So I worked on this before with James and wasn't around when the last improvements were discovered and thus was not directly privy to the route. However, we had talked about avoiding feel bad moments after collaborating on a level if further improvements were found, and James kindly shared the route with me now. This does present an odd situation where five people have shared the same route without it yet being public. Is it time to simply share it with everyone?

Next I think I'll try to work on something by myself for a change Slight smile

CCLP3L #123: 712 L (+6, b+2, Investment)

Was nice to work on something alone for a change, and even nicer to have some success with it. Not sure how much of this will transfer over to MS, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to hope I'll get a confirm out of it if I can execute the sporadic boosting.

CCLP3 #123: 736 (+23, b-3, Investment)

Well, apparently I suck at boosting. For today (and this week) I'm leaving it at this. When I next have an interest in this level I'll try to figure out how much time I lost and what my route is actually worth. It could be just a couple of seconds and I still need to go back and get the method right.

Hey, I'm back over Hornlitz to third place! I plan on holding on to this for some time. Slight smile (Who will first challenge me? Could it be James or IHNN??)

After various mishaps with tws-files, I don't have records of all my scores.

For some sets this is worse than for others and I've adopted an accepting attitude

that I will try to keep records when possible and even replaying some levels

when not too exacting. However to keep things clear to the rest of you, and for

easier score keeping for myself, I am going to note each time I do not have a

replay of the solution in my main tws file for a set. Below, for example on #16

the m+888 means that I have scored 888 seconds better than what I have in

my main tws-file at the moment for one reason or another.

Anyway, it's about time I compiled these into one place:

Michael made me do it. Jeff also nudged me along a bit. Thanks for that.

I uploaded the MS route to the public tws and might release the Lynx one too if I get my recording software in order again. There are easier ways to score the bold than exactly following the uploaded method; just use [4] to first stop the tanks (for example as you come down from the teleport for the first time), you aren't required to do the mouse click, and then you shouldn't press the clone button in the NE corner (if the tanks aren't moving, the glitch doesn't trigger). Pretty much everything works out the same, but you end up [2] moves slower.
