My level sets:
MikeL2 - 200 levels, updated 1/22/2017
MikeL2-fix - Lynx compatible version of MikeL2
MikeL3 - 86 levels, updated 1/22/2017 - a best-of set with levels from MikeL2, MikeL4 or my now-hidden rejects set
MikeL4 - 27 levels, updated 1/22/2017 - home of any new post-2009 levels I make
MikeLrejects - 351 levels, updated 5/16/2013 - all my older/experimental/not as good levels
I'm actually going to add a ton of lesson levels to the whitelist after hearing feedback about what we should do with lesson levels, so don't worry about nominating those. Slight smile I will, however, add the rest.
I've just noticed that level #20 in my set JRB_CCLP1 (WALK THE LINE) has a minor bust that allows you to press the toggle button at (8,29) twice before attempting to head back up "the line", which prevents the fireballs from cloning. This doesn't change the solution in any way, but it does make the second half of the level just a matter of walking back up to the top of the level, collecting the chips and exiting without having to dodge any more fireballs - which is kind of the point of the level (:

The level in question is currently on the whitelist, and I'd like for it to stay there, so I propose changing the toggle button to a clone button, which operates a block cloner (inaccessible to Chip, but within sight from the clone button so the player knows what the button does/did) cloning a block onto a new toggle button. This will open the toggle door at the start and allow fireballs to clone as intended, but pressing the block clone button multiple times will have no effect, thus removing the problem. The toggle button at (23,2) can still be used to block the fireballs at the very end, allowing Chip to exit safely.

This seems the most sensible solution to me at this point in time, but I'd welcome any staff/community thoughts on the matter.

My CCLP1 entry "Creature Sacrifice" should've been in the white list due to it's interesting concept of escorting tooth monsters and is considered one of my best levels to be in an official set.

That sounds great! Thanks for letting me know. As it so happens, this is actually one of the first levels that we'll be voting on - so great timing. Slight smile
Super! And thanks for the quick reply! I've just uploaded an updated version here (v1.2.1) and at the Yahoo group that addresses the problem.

Personally I do like this level, however I feel that the timing of letting the teeth out might be too daunting for new players, especially in Lynx mode...

I like the idea, but it's one of those levels where the concept is extended so far that it can become incredibly tedious, especially for a beginner who's not playing for the best time.
*pant, pant, gasp, gasp*

Sorry for the double post, but I thought I'd go ahead and fill everyone in on the list movement and activity for the day since we've had a busy one - all of the levels on the nominations master list on the first post on this page should be updated, and I was finally able to get the font and formatting corrected for the first part of that post! At first, I was going to say that you didn't have to scroll down too much, but that kind of became a moot point when Mike posted his list. Wink Anyway, on to what's happened today!

Moved from blacklist to ineligible list (since I forgot to do this last night when I listed the new The Last Few Chips CCLP1 Nominations versions):

- JBLP1 #75 - Spin Cycle

- TomPCCLP1 #62 - Boingy Balls

- inthepink #1 - In the Pink

Updated whitelist entries:

- Egyptian_Motif_LYNX_71 #99 - Return to Sender

Updated blacklist entries:

- LizzyBCCLP1 #20 - forced

Now, I had also promised both here and on the NG that I'd add a bunch of lesson levels to the mix after hearing the responses to what we should do about lesson levels in the thread on that topic. The vast majority seemed to lean toward including them in the voting and seeing what happens from there, so I added 25 more! I had actually started doing this when I posted my first big list update, but I had forgotten a few sets, including my own. So here you go:

- ArchieP1 #1 - ABSOLUTE BEGINNER

- CCLP1_Lessons #1 - Intro: Chip's Goal

- JBLP1 #1 - Chip Collector

- JBLP1 #2 - Item Inventory

- JBLP1 #4 - Fancy Footwear

- JBLP1 #5 - Switch Sampler

- JBLP1 #7 - Block Bonanza

- JBLP1 #12 - Terrifying Teeth

- JCCLP #4 - Boot Basics

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 1

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 2

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 3

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 4

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 5

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 7

- JRB_CCLP1 #1 - LESSON 9

- ReyCCLP1 #1 - Lesson 1

- ReyCCLP1 #1 - Lesson 3

- ReyCCLP1 #1 - Lesson 4

- ReyCCLP1 #1 - Lesson 5

- ReyCCLP1 #1 - Lesson 6

- ReyCCLP1 #1 - Lesson 7

- TS_Tutorials #1 - Gathering Chips

- TS_Tutorials #9 - Chips, Sockets, and Exits

- TS_Tutorials #13 - Green Buttons, Toggle Doors, Blue Buttons, and Tanks

Additionally, I've changed all Lessinath_CCLP1_final entries to Lessinath_CCLP1_2_1, which is the newer, more recently released version of the set with 11 levels removed from consideration that (to my knowledge) went unannounced. Please, everyone, if you update your set, especially if you completely change what level is where, please tell us! It helps a great deal with record-keeping, and should the affected levels be on the whitelist, it's especially important when copying and pasting levels into the voting packs that everyone will play to ensure that we have the latest version.
Ok guys, I've made adjustments to my Block Keepers (#35) and The Church (#51) from TomPCCLP1 in version 1.80. I realized Block Keepers wasn't that bad of a level once I made the level much smaller and more compact, hence not overstaying its welcome. I also made The Church easier and more CCLP1 friendly too, with less guesswork and more room for error allowed, as well as being able to see the toggle door switch in advance without having to guess where it is. Please give these two levels another look. Slight smile
