If you thought my level designing factory came to an end, you're wrong!

This is the 5th levelset in the "JoshL" lineup! Unlike it's predecessor, JoshL4, this levelset's difficulty range will be moderate, though some difficult levels will still exist. The set will be Lynx compatible. Also, this set will have many "sequel" levels from past levelsets of mine. Slight smile

I do plan to release a preview pack of this set sometime in the future, but not anytime soon.

Here is a preview of one of the levels I have made so far:

In this thread, I will post more level previews, and you guys are more than welcome to make suggestions on what you'd like to see in this set! Slight smile

+1 for the level you want to heal, -2 for the level you want to hurt. A level will be eliminated from the round when it hits 0.

Copy and paste the latest post reply, then make your changes with +1 and -2 to your choices and numbers.

Rules - No double posting! Wait until at least three different people after you have responded
minimum before you post again!

NOTE - If a level you want to give a -2 score to has only 1 remaining, the -2 vote must be shared with another level.

my latest level set of 22 levels. They are easy- moderately difficult. [except I'm terrible at judging my own levels so idk]

http://cczone.invisionzone.com/index.php?/files/file/334-nefertari/

thanks to members here who helped test and fix problems.

many of these were inspired by levels I've seen recently or played in the CCLP1 voting. I never put random guessing in my levels. There are a lot of levels in this set which involve deciphering clues to figure out what to do. If you find something that you feel is unfair please say so. Comments are welcome.

all levels work in MS and Lynx.

Please report problems if you find any. I play more often in Lynx, so there's likely to be more mistakes in MS than Lynx.

-please report problems you find. Comments or suggestions are welcome.

What's New in Version 3
  • I've since changed a few things since first upload; because of feedback
  • -Clue in RHEM is less vague.
  • -I don't remember what else.

CHIPS.EXE, Tile World, or Tile World 2?
Posted by: Hash1 - 20-Jan-2014, 12:31 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (21)

So, which do you use to chip?

I use mostly CHIPS.EXE (although it is less fluent on Windows 7).

For everything that is non-competitive level playing for fun, modifying, and level playtesting and other things.

However, when I want to keep a .TWS for whatever reason, I use tile world.

And as for Tile World 2, I don't use it, because, well, I haven't tried it yet Tongue .

  Two questions about.TWS
Posted by: Hash1 - 18-Jan-2014, 3:28 PM - Forum: Awards - Replies (4)

So I completed "Bloblake" (for the award "blobs on a lake") (BTW: It took me almost 1h, 30 min Tongue ).

And I have the .TWS proving so. Two questions.

1. Is just the .TWS enough?

2. I'm guessing I upload it on CCZone?
