File category: CC1 Levelsets

My third level pack, and this time, I'm hoping I'll do a good job of level ordering and difficulty curve. The beta versions will not show this (they are currently ordered in the order I created them), but I'm hoping after I get way more levels, the difficulty curve will be much better. I hope you enjoy!

Tile World 2 crashes from CCEdit
Posted by: mobius - 09-Sep-2013, 1:59 PM - Forum: Programs and Editors - Replies (4)

Tileworld 2 seems to work fine on my 64 bit windows 7 computer except if I configure it for testing with CCEdit. When I press the test button it opens then stops responding immediately.

thus, I've been using tileworld 1 to test with the editor, but I like that sounds display properly with T2 and stuff.

I'm gonna try and make a Chip's Challenge cake of Chip over the weekend. Funny enough, Friday is off (bus not working so good) and Monday is off too (planned day off) so I can work on a lot of Chip's Challenge stuff.

All CCLP1 Voting Packs Have Been Released!
Posted by: jblewis - 29-Aug-2013, 1:12 PM - Forum: Announcements - No Replies

That's right - the title doesn't lie! As of yesterday, August 28, all 33 CCLP1 voting packs are out in the wild! We have had an incredible amount of participation from 56 voters, who have collectively casted a whopping 25,207 votes! For comparison's sake, CCLP3 had only 15,242 votes casted throughout its voting process.

At this point, we haven't set an end date for voting in stone yet. However, I did promise you all when voting started that I'd revisit a timetable "around the end of August." First, I'm really hoping we can see at least 20 votes on every level in each level pack so that the results can be as informed as possible. Again, for comparison's sake, only one level in CCLP3 voting actually got this many votes. Right now, all packs except the three released yesterday have 10 or more votes on every level. Nine of these packs have already hit the 20 mark, with three more very close to it. That means we're already about halfway to this goal. Ultimately, I'm hoping we can close out voting at the very end of October. This isn't set in stone, but if we can keep up the momentum we've established, we could make this goal a reality. If you visit the CCLP1 Voting Pack News and Releases thread, you can find a count for every pack on the first post, as well as a grand total of votes. Every pack that's reached the 20-vote mark is marked in green.

In the meantime, enjoy the packs! If you're submitting all 50 votes for a given pack at the same time - and most people have been doing this - make sure every radio button is pressed. We've had quite a few instances of one or two levels not getting a vote because someone's mouse was slightly off or something to that effect. Also, be sure to review your votes, especially as you play more levels, and make sure your evaluating is consistent throughout the landscape of your votes. We've already had quite a few people do this as they've played more and more levels, and it's been great to see.

Keep up the good work, everyone! Remember, every vote counts, and your votes do help us determine the final makeup of the set. Let's push, push, push these next several weeks!

The Song Above Has to Smell
Posted by: Chipwoodstock - 28-Aug-2013, 7:30 PM - Forum: Games and Trivia - Replies (1)

It's like a similar game i've seen here, where you have to post the above's question, with a true-false. This version is a tad different. You have to say if the song above is bad or is good based on your opinion. You have to try and post bad songs.

The crazy rules:

 • If the song is bad, you must say "Smells", or else the person below will get to list 2 songs to answer, and that's that. The number of songs won't last, so when someone says smells, the rate for 2 songs for the next person, they only get to list 1 song to rate.
 • If the song is good, the person below post 3 songs, but the person who replies to your 3 songs MUST only have 1. Even if the song is "good" or they say "bad" instead of "smells".
 • You can bet the good/bad reply. If the response is same, the person below must post 2 songs. Like the other 2 rules, after someone replies to their 2 songs, they MUST have the others only list 1 song.
 • If you have no opinion, you can either pass (but the one below must post 4 songs) or listen to the song, and then not choose a song.
 • If there's no song, no matter what, you must post 2 songs. Like always, the next person must post 1 song.

I'll go first. Teeth

Rebecca Black's Friday.
