  Deleting Posts and Topics
Posted by: DeltaCore - 26-Jan-2020, 3:23 PM - Forum: Announcements - No Replies

Hi everyone,

I have enabled the ability for all verified community members (i.e. those in the Bit Busters group) to delete their own posts and topics. However, do note that all post deletions are considered a "soft delete", meaning the staff will always have the ability to restore such posts if the need arises.

If you are not a member of the Bit Busters group and feel you should be, please contact any administrator.

Welcome to the New CC Zone
Posted by: DeltaCore - 18-Jan-2020, 11:16 PM - Forum: Announcements - No Replies

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the new CC Zone hosted at BitBusters.club. I've been working hard along side the CC Zone staff team for the last couple weeks to ensure a smooth of a transition from Invision Zone as possible. While today marks the opening of this forum, the staff will continue to be hard at work tweaking the forum settings, adding plugins where appropriate and working through some of the content issues resulting from the transfer process as times goes on.

We've done our best to preserve all uploaded content from Invision Zone, including file uploads, gallery uploads and post attachments. However, you will likely want to review your user profile, forum settings and other important content as soon as possible to ensure everything transferred correctly. Remember that the old CC Zone hosted at cczone.invisionzone.com will only be available until 1-Feb-2020 before it is deleted.

If you come across any issues with the new forum or have suggestions for possible features, please feel free to raise them in the Feedback forum. Alternatively, if you find an issue related to one specific post or thread, you can report it to flag it for staff review. Although the old CC Zone is closing on 1-Feb-2020, the server staff have access to an archived database which can be referenced as needed. Lastly, I would ask that any testing of MyBB Forum features be done on the test forum at smf.bitbusters.club rather than making test posts on this new forum. The test forum will remain available for at least a few weeks so we have an environment to test any potential new plugins.

To prevent possible spambot accounts from being transferred to the new forum, any members with 0 posts and 0 PMs have been moved to a "Pending Deletion" group for removal in the near future. If any accounts have been moved here in error, please let me know by emailing cowman133@gmail.com. Furthermore, a "Bit Busters" user group has been created for confirmed community members which has relaxed restrictions on posting, downloads, uploads and more. If you feel you belong in the Bit Busters user group, please let any administrator know.

With the forum move, the staff roster has been revised and restructured as follows:

Administrators - community managers responsible for the overall forum operations (events, staffing, bans, etc.) and the technical backend

Senior Moderators - moderate within any forum, manage community events and deal with disruptive users
Moderators - have the ability to moderate content within all forums, but are not typically involved with bans or resolving disputes
Thanks to everyone who has been involved with keeping CC Zone running successfully over the years and I look forward to many more years to come!

  CC Zone is closing down(?)
Posted by: AdrenalinDragon - 05-Jan-2020, 1:30 PM - Forum: Announcements - Replies (3)

Hello everyone,

I haven't been in the Chip's Challenge Community for many years now, and this is not an easy thing for me to say without sounding like the bad guy, but I'm going to be brutally honest.

I can't keep paying for CC Zone anymore and I'm getting sick and tired of it. I'm always fighting on why I am spending money on something I never use such as this website. My Patreon no longer covers the monthly costs. I don't get alot of money to spend every month nowadays. I am still unemployed and am lucky in this current state to get any paid job. Supposedly there's a website that has replaced CC Zone from what I've been told on Facebook. If that's the case, then tell me why I should keep paying for CC Zone? What benefit does it give me? I make no money running this website anymore. To me, its just expenses for no reason which I could use for food or petrol.

The deadline will be 1st February 2020. I'm not paying for this website anymore and that's final. I've had enough and nobody cares anymore. Back everything up while you can.

Tom Patten

UPDATE: I am willing to negotiate for someone to take over CC Zone before the end of the month. After that, I am putting my foot down on this for good. This is not a joke.

What's New in Version 1.2.0

1.2.0: Around the ice slide delay removed, changing one section slightly, and also changed balls and ice areas to right to it for better. Work Shift changed so Chip cannot use trick to just grab boots then slack off while work area gets messy. He have been fired and workshop redesigned.

1.1.0: Oops. Thought I had tested all levels in MS mode. Apparently Pattern and DoublePush wasn't quite working in MS mode. Pattern you could push buttons too fast so now there is just one button each so you can't break machine. DoublePush MS blocks is slightly different so can't push blocks on time so bounce back is moved one block away.

Thanks, chipster1059 for beta testing!
