  CCLP4 Complete!
Posted by: mmoraleta - 19-Jul-2017, 5:15 PM - Forum: Level Discussion - Replies (18)

I have completed all 149 levels of CCLP4 Chip Win and I'm gonna say I had a blast playing through it. Good selection of well crafted aesthetic levels and sneaky brain teasing puzzles. Thankfully, there were no frustrating unreasonable levels, tedious or insane monster dodging levels.I didn't have too much of a hard time playing it since I pretty much knew some of the levels since I played a lot of those levels. At first, I thought it was going to be a little harder than CCLP3, but it wasn't. CCLP3 was tough enough as it is especially that good old "You Cant Teach an Old Frog New Tricks" level along with a bunch of confusing Madhav levels. Nevertheless, I gotta say that I had a really good time playing towards this set. Slight smile Normally I state my favorite levels and some that I would like to point out but this time I'm gonna give a review every single level inspired by chipster and my other levelset reviews.

Anyway, CCLP4 is a great set and a great experience. Clapping

  The Longest Track

I can't find a configuration that enables the cloned fireball in the block room that gives enough time for the cloned fireball in the "water maze" to make it into the 4th bomb. Slight frown

I tried to find a solution and I keep seeing busted ones. Speaking of solution I tried Jeffrey's busted solution exactly but somehow it doesn't work.

I need assistance to find a block configuration so that a fireball can travel through a block configuration that allows enough time for a cloned fireball in the "water maze" to blow the 4th bomb without drowning.

Thanks!

  CCLP4 Propaganda
Posted by: mmoraleta - 18-Jul-2017, 1:39 PM - Forum: Level Discussion - Replies (2)

I am stuck again in CCLP4. I pretty much got the mechanics of Propaganda (135) but I can't make it to the exit. Specifically I can't cover the trap button that controls the left trap.

Now I know that both traps must be open to get the green key. Also the tank covering the trap button initially has to bounce back in order to get both the yellow keys so you don't get trapped in that little room. Prior to that I've bounced the tank again for the green key.

The only thing that I don't get is getting to the exit. I just can't get that trap button closed. Plus I know that the block has to blow up the bomb.

I need assistance for this level too.

Edit: Apparently 114 is also a new record, so i'm adding that at the top here.

Edit 2: Meant to include my overall score in my CCLP4 report.

CC2 (score):
104 (Pieces of Eight): 54890 (b+10)

114 (In the Long Run): 58790 (b+10)

CC2 (time):
104 (Pieces of Eight): 289 (b+1)

114 (In the Long Run): 79 (b+1)

Other CC2 levels (i highly doubt there are any other new records in here but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯):
(also hopefully there are no typos)

And i guess i'll post my CCLP4 Lynx times:

  Need help on Pushover CCLP4
Posted by: mmoraleta - 18-Jul-2017, 12:38 AM - Forum: Level Discussion - Replies (9)

I am totally stuck on Pushover (134), I just can't conserve enough blocks to collect 4 chips. Almost all the time I am short one chip due to insufficient blocks

3 Things

- I believe that the 2 extra chips are the ones closest to the socket since the only use for the block right next to the exit is to blow up the bomb adjacent to the socket.

- I have to waste one of the blocks at the start since its impossible to start since chip is surrounded by blocks.

- The only way to utilize the trap button is to blow at least 3 of the bombs and that is what is needed to access the 2 chips on the far right.

I literally tried everything I can think of including any sort of MS shenanigans but I can't come up with a solution.

I need some assistance on this level. I am completely stumped. Slight frown

  CCLP4 Level 81
Posted by: mmoraleta - 15-Jul-2017, 2:19 PM - Forum: CCLP Discussions - Replies (4)

I'm currently on Estranged For A Season (81) and I am stumped on the "glider shouldn't press the red button." part. In other words I cant find a way to avoid the glider hitting the red button while trying to get the 5 chips on the other side. I need help. Confused

So far I am really enjoying the set so far. Smiley
