I'd go with blobs for many of the reasons people have mentioned already. Personally, I enjoy walkers much more when it comes to dodging randomness.

And with respect to new tiles...I'd love to see a button that reverses force floors.

IMO I would get rid of blobs, they annoy me too much because of their random movement in any direction - thus explains the curse of Blobnet..
