NOTE - Version 2.2 fixes more busts in the original release.
Ok guys, it's finally out! I've spent all week Lynxifying this level for CCLP voting. I've also added more things to do this time around so I hope you all like the 2nd version.
Since the Lynx version has less room for error, I'm going to guess the MS version should be easier to solve for all Chipsters. I've only tested it in Tile World so far, though.
This is the MS/Lynx compatible version of Final Destination, made for CCLP voting. This set can be used to obtain the "Cheating Death" award on CC Zone.
Version 2 of Final Destination will also be released in the upcoming "TomP2Remix" compilation set.
I've just posted my new level set, JBLP1, to the Downloads section. This is the start of a new continuity in my level packs - from now on, all of my level sets will contain 100 levels and will be named JBLP2, 3, and so forth. There are only three sets planned currently for this series, each with a similar difficulty curve, but more may come in the future. All of the levels in this set are MS-, Lynx-, and Pedantic Lynx-compatible and are available for consideration for all future community-produced level packs.
As mentioned on the set's description, 39 of the 100 levels in this set appeared in my previous set, JL1, but many of them have since been modified for this release for various reasons. A full list of changes will be availble soon.
Comments on the levels in this set and suggestions for future levels are certainly welcome. Hope you all enjoy the new levels!
This set is the first in a series of MS- and Lynx-compatible level packs that I will be releasing over the next several years.
The levels in these sets are meant to be simple and straightforward in the spirit of the original game, though the difficulty peak is ultimately a bit higher. There's a mix of action, puzzles, mazes, and hodgepodge levels to enjoy for players of almost any skill level.
Originally, this set, JBLP1, contained 100 levels when it was released during the CCLP1 submission period. Since then, new levels have been added to take the total to a full 149. The set also features 12 tutorial levels as a preface to the challenges that lie ahead, as well as eight additional post-tutorial levels to introduce various types of gameplay. Any changes made to this set after its initial release are listed in the changelog. Changes with asterisks indicate edits that may affect TWS solutions for previous versions.
Please consider the levels in this set for any future community-produced level packs.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to private message me on CCZone. Enjoy playing!
This is now a level set that can stand on its own, containing a wide variety of levels with interesting twists and flavors. It is not, however, complete yet.
It currently stands at 35 levels.
Enjoy, and feedback is greatly appreciated.
1.1 update:
Added several new levels (up to 35), reordered some levels and fixed a bust in Choose One, with the other being intentional as it requires greater playing skill than the intended solution!
Normally CC editors randomize passwords, but occasionally the random password generator pulls up something funny or even inappropriate. Sometimes, level designers even set their own passwords for some or all of the levels, like I did for 2 levels in BigOto Returns. What are some of the favorite/funniest/most inappropriate passwords you have ever come across?
Some of my favorites include "GULP" generated by the random generator when trying numerous times to get a password that didn't sound like anything, "DMCA" which I chose for Matched Third Party Content (which fits the theme of copyright), and I plan to set Vivid Dream's password to "RTNA" for obvious reasons if you've been watching my videos. I also know it is possible to set a password with numbers or more than 4 characters but I don't plan on doing so since those tend to mess things up. Currently BigOto Returns has a password that is on thin ice of being inappropriate, which was generated randomly, and was not caught by me before the latest update, but I'm not saying exactly what it is up here on the main post.
OK now for those who've been around in the last few months, we have done couple projects including Minigolf games and Cannons games, to name a few. Sometimes, they're recorded, sometimes, we just go out there to chill with everyone. So here we'll arrange dates and hours for these to be reproduced.
If you're interested into seeing old projects:
I have some Minigolf games and a Dualtris game on my YouTube channel
BigOto2 has a Minigolf game and a Cannons game on his.
Also, BigOto2, Flareon350 and myself have made a co-commentary on some CC videos.
BigOto2 has 2 videos, Flareon350 has 1, and I have 1 as well.
We could keep track of every project here, but I don't have time at the moment, I'll edit in the video links later.
