Walls of CCLP3 discussion |

Roughly two years ago, I attempted at a project that would have been my ultimate CC1 set - Walls of CCLP1. I was inspired enough by Joshua Bone's Walls of CC1 to attempt it but as a CC1 set. However, after about 20 levels were made, I lost sight of the project for one reason or another and aborted it completely. Though I savaged most the levels made for it and placed them into JoshL6-extended, but the thought of doing a walls of set with a different set of walls remained in the back of my mind since then.
Then Walls of CCLP4 came out. That... brought back the inspiration to try a walls of set again. Though, I had already placed the ones with CCLP1's walls into JoshL6 so reattempting it, didn't make much sense. CC1's and CCLP2's walls is already being done by Joshua Bone and mobius respectively as CC2 sets. J.B. started up his own Walls of CCLP1 set, which is better suited for him than me. So what other official set is left?
CCLP3.
I initially planned to not release this till it was completely done, however, iterative releases are a fun way to get other members involved with the process of any set and honestly aren't done much anymore these days. This first release holds 40 levels - I'm planning on releasing another update once 70-80 levels is reached, which should provided plenty of time to make any adjustments and/or fixes to these levels, if any exist.
Feedback is very appreciated! Any input on how the levels play out, look, etc. would be helpful to make this set as good as it can be. I hope you enjoy!

May 2018 Time Trial |

You can download the two levels here:
A tl;dr of the rules:
- Deadline for the competition is June 12th where you live.
- Please send your submissions (tws or avi) to me at jraanderson at msn dot com.
- The competition is in MS mode, but you can send in Lynx solutions as well.
A more thorough description:
[Click to Show Content]
<ol style="background-color:#fafafa; color:#353c41; font-size:14px; text-align:start">
[*]
The person with the highest combined score on the two levels wins!
[*]
You may enter in either MS or Lynx, with MS considered primary. This means the players will be ranked by their MS times if they have one, and if not their Lynx time will count as their MS time, with the caveat that if it exceeds the best reported MS time, then it is considered equal to that time.
[*]
Please send your solutions (either the tws file or avis) to jraanderson at msn dot com or to jamesa7171#1597 on discord. I will strive to respond to your message by a confirmation that your score has been recorded.
[*]
Don't be afraid to send in your solutions even if you sense they aren't perfect, and simple casual solutions are also appreciated. You may enter if you solve at least one of the levels, but solving both will obviously place higher.
[*]
Submission deadline is June 12th, 2018 where you live. I will judge the submissions without warning during the following days but will accept submissions until I do. If you need a more specific time, you can always ask. To avoid losing on time (it is a time trial after all), get your solutions in early rather than later! You can send in improvements while the competition is running, so there is no downside to sending in something you know might not be your best effort if you had forever to work on it.
[*]
This is part of the 2018 season of the Chip Cup. The winner will be awarded 15 points, second place 12, third 10 points, and so on. If you win a competition here for the first time, you qualify for the "You're Winner!" award. All participants who haven't participated in a Time Trial earlier qualify for the "Run, Chip, Run" award. The quickest Lynx solutions may be awarded an additional 5 Chip Cup points. The participants who send their first submissions before May 26th may receive an Early Bird Bonus of 1 Chip Cup point.
[*]
The designer of the levels and any others who have seen the levels in advance, may enter the competition. Please be fair and do not abuse this rule; it is meant to maximize the fun, not provide an advantage.
[*]
The levels may receive an (other) update within the first week of their release. This will only be done if there is some significant problem with the first versions of the levels.
[*]
Do not post your solutions or solution times or share them with others before the competition results are announced. All times will be published at the same time, and the quickest solutions will eventually be released. Stay tuned for a public tws of all the levels so far!
[*]
As an exception to the above rule, a participant may 'freeze' their scores at some point after submitting their own solutions. They will not be able to submit any more updates after this, but they may talk about the levels and their times with other people who have frozen their entry. I may update a public list of people who have frozen their score.
