  Death of a Chipster
Posted by: TML - 03-Feb-2022, 1:28 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of a prominent Chipster. Kathleen Anne "Kathy" LaPier (née McMahon), one of the original Charter Chipsters from back in the 1990s, died on January 8, 2022, aged 75.

  Momentary Impatience

I am currently playing TJBR (The JB Realm) and I am hopelessly stuck on a level named Momentary Impatience.

[Image: level.png?width=418&height=418]If anyone can help me, could you please send me a video solution, TWS, or JSON to help me out. I've received many tips but I just don't get it. I'll appreciate the help. Slight smile

  Blockwall versions of levelsets uploaded.
Posted by: Rolf - 12-Dec-2021, 4:50 PM - Forum: CC1 Level Packs - No Replies

Hi, while ago, I made blockwall of cc1 and cclp1. Someone requested more, so I made cclp2, cclxp2, cclp3 and cclp4 versions.

Essentially, all walls except ones under player or monsters are replaced with blocks. It does varied effects to level, from very easily bustable to no difference at all.

Enjoy. It is found at Level Sets on this site.

Announcing the 2021 Holiday Create Competition!
Posted by: geodave - 02-Dec-2021, 9:01 AM - Forum: Competitions - Replies (1)

The theme for the create competition for this month is one of my favorite design elements -- multiple exits!

More specifically, your entry should have more than one reachable exit, and more than one solution.  You can have as many solutions and exits as you like, but you must submit a SOLUTION (AVI, MP4, TWS or JSON) for at least two of the solutions.  (I have no belief that I can solve your levels, but I will try before looking.)

If you want an example, please see this video https://youtu.be/YqPpEFuwkok .

Your level can be MS, Lynx, Steam or cc2, just let me know.  If using cc2, please limit your level to 40x40 or smaller.
No voodoo tiles in cc2.  No ice blocks or illegal tiles or tile combinations in cc1.

If your level has multiple players, simply having each user exit in a different exit is not sufficient to be considered multiple solutions.  Having exits right next to each other (a la SEEING STARS) is not multiple exits.

Submit to me in discord or via email (dmvarberg at hotmail dot com).

Deadline to submit is February 2nd at noon Eastern Standard Time (17:00 UTC).  I will be judging starting the next day and hopefully have results in early February.

Good luck!
