Roman Numeral Challenge
#1
Give me any Roman Numeral less than 5,000 and I will solve it without any help.

For those who have little to no experience with Roman Numerals:

I - 1

V - 5

X - 10

L - 50

C - 100

D - 500

M - 1000

Quote:This is not a valid roman numeral number; there is an M after the C, which is not a valid use of the number: Although you can put larger numbers such as X after a small number such as I, it cannot be used with thousands.

If you switched the M and C and then the C and D around like so:

MMMDCLV

The number will become 3,655.

Slight smile

And that's why I never should mess around with Roman Numerals.

Isn't CD valid? How would you express 400?
