Cross checking?

Whose idea was it to call it cross-checking when you push a block through an ice corner? I would think it's a lot more like boarding.

I don't know. I'm assuming about the same, but boarding makes a lot of sense too, thinking twice Tongue

Never thought of who thought of that term...I'd say Andrew B. as well Thumbs up

It does seem more like boarding though Tongue

Wouldn't it be "overboarding," since you're...going out of dryness and into the water? Tongue

"Ramming" was originally coined by Andrew B. as well. I wanted to call it "Thumbtacking", but Andrew BRUTALLY rejected that name Thumbs up

Or "No-clipping," because anything can fuse right through an ice corner.

The problem is that not everyone may be familiar with the context within which "noclip" was originally used...
