Whose idea was it to call it cross-checking when you push a block through an ice corner? I would think it's a lot more like boarding.

I don't know. I'm assuming about the same, but boarding makes a lot of sense too, thinking twice

"Ramming" was originally coined by Andrew B. as well. I wanted to call it "Thumbtacking", but Andrew BRUTALLY rejected that name

Or "No-clipping," because anything can fuse right through an ice corner.

The problem is that not everyone may be familiar with the context within which "noclip" was originally used...
