I think it's more to do with how many replies a thread has. It'd be pretty insulting to the thread-creators if threads that died with only one reply were permanently* branded with a "cold" designation.

I had a dream last night that it was 66 degrees (F). On the one hand I was bummed about global warming, but on the other, I didn't care, because it meant that I could go outside without a coat and not have to hide indoors for 23.5 hours a day.



I was very happy.

I'm sure some of you guys live in cold areas too, but I must say that after last week's cold front, this weeks average of

about -20 °C ( -4°F ) has felt absolutely warm. Even the kids at day care were able to go outside and enjoy the snow again.
