What about a simple storyline? Or what about not pre-made ideas?

I've only played both games once... I wouldn't consider that too much. Being a big fan of the storyline is another thing though, and I don't see what's wrong with imagining such ideas. It doesn't even have to be a moon launch necessarily, it's just that love scenes are already very old and all of the books/movies/video games that involve space are often some of my favorites.
I'd go with the idea of Chip simply coming across something suspicious and discovering the clubhouse, pretty much anything goes as long as it is a lot different and more interesting than CC1...

No no no. Chip and Melinda HAVE A KID. And then they need to teach him how to be the best Chipster around. So they create a new clubhouse for him to go through.
I will accept my Oscar right now.

Oh please no. Remember, we're looking for a prequel to CCLP2 and 3, not the next generation! You guys, please stop bashin' my ideas...
Also, I personally prefer more complex storylines, maybe even some alliance changes... ? We'll see.

The only other idea mentioned was a "Amnesia" idea, but I don't know...

Seriously I think the moon launch is amazing. I cannot think of a prequel story! Chip and Melinda having a kid? No...just no.
He can't just have his memory wiped like that... That would suck bigtime. I think it would be best to not have any CC1 references.

It'd be best to be original and not refer any other obvious games, period.
Ain't bashing ideas, but I don't know what the hell Chip would do in space. It just makes no sense that suddenly there's the same exact crap he experienced on Earth up there.
