Still in progress, CC Zone has implemented an awards system for members. You can check the current awards on the awards tab near the top. The awards you earn will be shown on your post and member profiles. If you'd like to suggest some awards, please post them in the "Feedback" forum. Thanks!

So for those who have actually downloaded and played JoshL3, how do you guys like the levels? I would love some feedback!

Hello all! This is my 2nd level set, titled JoshL2! It consists of 150 levels, some being easy, some being moderately difficult, some being pretty puzzling at first.

In this set, you will experience:

-Great levels that should be strongly considered for CCLP1!

-Quite a bit of block pushing (sorry about that)

-Amazing and hilarious concepts

-Levels that will lie to you

-Levels that might make you scream your head off

This set is mostly Lynx compatible!

Confirmed solvable? Yes

  Favourite CCLP3 Secret Level
Posted by: Hornlitz - 03-Jan-2012, 7:02 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (25)

What is your favourite CCLP3 secret level?

Of all of the 5, I'd have to say Recurring Dream. It was fun to figure out and play, and fun to optimise as well.

Diabolical is next because of it's simplicity, especially late in the set. It was a fun, easy break from the other 4 secret levels.

Mr McCallahan Presents goes here because it was quite hard to figure out, and it took me a long time to get, not to mention the pink ball section. It was still fun to play though.

Avalanche is fourth, mainly because there's a time limit. If a bold time to a level is just over 300 when the time limit is 999, there shouldn't be one at all. It was too easy to mess up on too.

Last is Suspended Animation. It was hard enough to execute in MS, and near impossible in Lynx.

What about you guys?

When do you use the mouse?
Posted by: M11k4 - 03-Jan-2012, 6:50 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (29)

I've been wondering for a while if allowing the mouse to be used in competative play really is useful as a whole. If people enjoy using it somewhere else than just when it's absolutely needed to score high on a level in CC1 or CCLPn, then it should of course be allowed. In either case it does make it harder for new competative players to catch up with the rest :-) What do you think?

  Let's get started!

This word just started this sentence which starts this blog. This one doesn't.

Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of being subjected to my thoughts on playing, designing, talking, optimizing, thinking, eating, sleeping, playing again, watching, competing, agonizing, winning, managing, playing, and of course enjoying Chip's Challenge!

And with that, I'm off to bed.

  This or That

Alright, this one I used to play and love back on my Valice.net days, so I think it might work well here, especially with everything revolving around CC. You pick your favorite out of the 2 suggested, then you suggest 2 more. Start!

Paramecium or Bug?

  Favorite CCLP2 Secret Level
Posted by: quiznos00 - 03-Jan-2012, 3:20 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (13)

Might as well do it for CCLP2, someone can post a CCLP3 one if they want...

Mine is Key Color. Gauntlet is simply too short, though it's interesting while it lasts. Run-A-Muck is hell, and the teeth rearrangement part makes me hate it even more. I except Cloner's Maze to be the most popular, but I dislike the part after a good ten minutes into the level where you must be very precise with trap timing (involving a glider you can barely see), or else the whole level will be cooked. I like the unorthodox design of Neptune, but again, there's not much too it. Key Color is a great conclusion to the set and is designed very elegantly, and it might be my favorite final level of the three sets.

Thoughts?
